Today, BONASO, through seed funding from NAHPA, successfully hosted a Stakeholder Breakfast Meeting on the Health CSO Mapping and Capacity Assessment, bringing together government, development partners, civil society, and other key stakeholders to discuss the importance of strengthening Botswana's health civil society sector through evidence, collaboration, and strategic partnerships.

This important initiative seeks to identify Health Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) across Botswana, understand the work they do, assess their organisational capacity, and generate evidence that will inform stronger coordination, resource mobilisation, policy engagement, and sustainable health programming.

NAHPA AT CHILLERS SOCIAL CLUB FUNDRAISING SOCCER TOURNAMENT – MMANOKO

‎On Saturday, August 1 2026, NAHPA proudly joined Chillers Social Club in Mmanoko for a vibrant fundraising soccer tournament. The competition brought together four spirited teams battling for the prestigious trophy, while the sidelines became a hub for community health empowerment.

‎Through this partnership, NAHPA and civil society organizations provided vital health services, including condom social marketing, breast cancer awareness, and HIV and AIDS education. Special focus was placed on adolescent boys and young men, a key population that continues to lag behind in HIV prevention and treatment uptake.

‎The event showcased how sports can unite communities while serving as a powerful platform for health promotion and social responsibility. NAHPA remains committed to advancing public health through innovative partnerships that bring awareness, education, and services directly to the people.

‎Together, we play for health, hope, and a stronger future.

Today, NAHPA proudly participated in the Desert Bush Walk, reaffirming our commitment to promoting wellness and healthy, active lifestyles as the foundation of a healthier Botswana.
