EarthRanger Training Progresses with Practical Field Exercise

This week, the EarthRanger training programme continued with a practical field exercise at the Gaborone Game Reserve. The hands-on session provided participants with an opportunity to apply the knowledge gained during classroom training in a real environment.

The exercise equipped officers with the practical skills, experience, and confidence needed to effectively utilise the EarthRanger system in wildlife monitoring, conservation management, and field operations. The training forms part of the Department's ongoing efforts to strengthen staff capacity and enhance the use of technology in wildlife conservation.
