Every woman deserves the right to live free from fear, make decisions about her own life, and raise her children in an environment of love and security.

Not Without My Daughter movie is based on a true story of Betty Mahmoody 📺🧡👣

Set in the 1980s, the movie takes us through Betty’s experience of abuse, control, and the fight for her freedom as she tried to protect herself and her daughter. Her journey is an eye opener on that that abuse, isolation, and the denial of a woman's freedom can happen in many forms and in different circumstances.

While every story is unique, Betty's courage to fight for her daughter's safety and her own freedom is a powerful reminder of the resilience so many women carry in silence.

This movie also reminds us of something equally important: behind every headline and statistic is a real woman with dreams, fears, and a story that deserves to be heard not judged.

One day, when my kid asks, “Did you give up your dreams for me, Mom?” I hope I can look at her, smile, and say, “No, I chased them with you by my side.” Because motherhood was never meant to be the end of who we are. It’s the beginning of a stronger, braver, more determined version of us🌱

Yes, there are days we feel exhausted. Days when the to-do list never ends, when our dreams feel paused, when we wonder if we’re falling behind. But even in the middle of the chaos, we are still becoming. Still growing. Still chasing.

Our dreams didn’t disappear. They just started including little hands to hold, little voices cheering us on, and little hearts that give everything we do a deeper purpose💫.
