Botswana National Archives and Records Services (BNARS) has scheduled a series of activities in commemoration of Archives Week 2026 under the theme, “Archives for Justice, Rights, Memory and the Future.” The programme commenced with an exhibition at the BNARS Headquarters, followed by a school presentation in Molepolole at Boikhutso Junior Secondary School. Through these activities, BNARS seeks to raise awareness about the vital role archives play in safeguarding rights, promoting accountability and justice, preserving collective memory, and ensuring that valuable records are available for future generations.
