The Civil Aviation Authority Botswana (CAAB) welcomes the launch of the newly revitalised 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲 at 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘀𝗲 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 (𝗦𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗔), marking another important milestone in enhancing the passenger experience at Botswana's premier international gateway.

As the entity mandated to develop, manage and promote safe, secure, efficient and sustainable airport infrastructure and services, CAAB remains committed to creating world-class airport environments that meet the evolving needs of travellers while supporting Botswana's aspirations as a regional aviation, tourism and business hub.

The revitalised P**a Lounge, officially launched by Air Botswana in partnership with Soft Landing Concierge and the Gaborone City Investment Company (GCIC), introduces an elevated hospitality experience that complements the ongoing transformation of SSKIA. Offering travellers a modern, comfortable and welcoming space to relax or conduct business before their journey, the lounge reflects the shared commitment of industry stakeholders to delivering exceptional customer service.
Speaking at the launch, the Honourable Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Mr Noah Salakae, commended Air Botswana and its partners for their continued investment in improving the passenger experience through strategic collaboration. The event brought together key stakeholders from the aviation, tourism and business sectors, underscoring the importance of partnerships in advancing Botswana's aviation ecosystem.

For CAAB, the launch of the P**a Lounge is more than the introduction of a premium passenger facility, it represents the continued evolution of Sir Seretse Khama International Airport into a modern airport that meets international standards while showcasing Botswana's renowned warmth and hospitality.

Every enhancement to the airport environment contributes to a seamless passenger journey, from arrival to departure, reinforcing confidence in Botswana as a destination for tourism, investment and trade. Facilities such as the P**a Lounge enrich the overall travel experience, ensuring passengers enjoy comfort, convenience and quality service at every touchpoint.
