Gaselo Primary School successfully conducted its Annual Science Exhibition 2026. Gaselo Primary School invited judges from Gaselo Higher Secondary School to ensure fairness and avoid conflicts of interest. The exhibition on thermal conduction provided students with hands-on learning and helped develop their curiosity and STEM skills. To encourage and motivate the young learners, the winning team will be taken on a field trip. Gaselo Primary School successfully conducted an Inter-House Basketball Competition on the newly constructed basketball court, graciously provided with the support of the new Dasho Dzongda of Wangdue Phodrang. The competition aimed to build school spirit, promote teamwork, foster healthy competition, and develop students’ athletic skills through friendly matches among the different school houses. The event provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and perseverance while enjoying a healthy and engaging sporting experience. The Parent–Teacher Meeting for Term II was successfully conducted on 24 July 2026, with an outstanding 99% parent attendance, reflecting the strong commitment of parents to their children's education. The meeting aimed to review students' academic progress at the midpoint of the term, identify learning gaps, and provide guidance to help students prepare for the final examinations. During the programme, overall toppers, class toppers, and students who scored above 85% were honoured with certificates and prizes in recognition of their excellent academic performance. The school was honoured by the presence of the Gup of Gase Tshogom Gewog as the Chief Guest, along with officials from various sectors. The School Management extends its sincere gratitude to all parents for their remarkable participation and congratulates all the award recipients for their dedication and hard work. Gaselo Primary School participated in the Inter-School Cricket Competition organized by the Dzongkhag Cricket Association, Wangdue Phodrang. The school team performed exceptionally well and secured the Runner-Up position among the participating schools in Wangdue Dzongkhag. Participation in such competitions helps students develop physical fitness, hand-eye coordination, stamina, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Gaselo Primary School successfully completed the Grassroot Criiio Program conducted from 16th May 2026 to 24th May 2026. The program provided young players with valuable opportunities to learn teamwork, leadership, discipline, communication, and sportsmanship through fun and engaging activities. It was a wonderful experience filled with learning, enjoyment, skill development, and active participation for all the students.

We were pleased to participate in the Inter-School Cricket Competition 2026 at Bajo Higher Secondary School.
