Global Handwashing Day 2026 at Rangjung Primary School 👐

Our school observed Global Handwashing Day today, 15 October, under the theme “Be a Handwashing Hero!”

The programme featured a practical demonstration by our Health In-charge and student leaders on the six essential handwashing techniques, helping students learn the correct way to wash their hands and maintain proper personal hygiene. Students also showcased their creativity and awareness by preparing posters highlighting the importance of handwashing with soap and clean water.

The observation reinforced the message that clean hands are a simple yet powerful way to prevent the spread of germs and diseases. Through these meaningful activities, our students were encouraged to practise proper handwashing regularly and become Handwashing Heroes in their school, homes and communities.

Clean hands, healthy lives! Together, let’s make handwashing a daily habit.
