Mrs. Jitchen Dema has been promoted from Sr. Personal Assistant II (SS3 A) to Sr. Personal Assistant I (SS2 A) under the Office of the Secretary. Her unwavering commitment, efficiency, and administrative support have been instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Office.

Mr. Dorji Gyeltshen has been promoted from Sr. Planning Officer (P3 A) to Dy. Chief Planning Officer (P2 A) under the Policy and Planning Division. His dedication, strategic insight, and commitment to strengthening planning and policy coordination have significantly contributed to the Ministry's organizational and developmental objectives.

A message has been circulating on various social media platforms warning the public about individuals allegedly impersonating Home Affairs Officers.

At the outset, the Ministry of Home Affairs would like to acknowledge and appreciate the individual who shared the message with the intention of safeguarding the public. However, the Ministry wishes to clarify that no door-to-door exercise involving the verification of identity cards, collection of fingerprints, photographs, or census-related biometric data has been initiated or authorised by the Department of Civil Registration and Census.

While the circulating message is not based on any verified initiative of the Ministry, it serves as a timely reminder for the public to remain vigilant against individuals who may falsely claim to represent government agencies.

Members of the public are advised to:

1. Refrain from providing personal information or biometric data to unknown individuals claiming to be government officials.

2. Report any suspicious activity immediately to the Royal Bhutan Police or the relevant government agency for verification.

We request everyone to help disseminate this clarification through your respective networks to prevent unnecessary public concern while encouraging continued vigilance against fraud and impersonation.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the requirements outlined in Section 11.7.3 of the BCSR 2023 and fulfill the Dzongrab Job Description.
Additionally, as approved by the RCSC, eligible P2 Cultural Officers, Language Development Officers, and DT Secretaries are also encouraged to apply.
