The College hosted awareness sessions conducted by the Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited (RICBL) and the Royal Society for Senior Citizens (RSSC), Thimphu, for the College staff.

The first session, conducted by the Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited (RICBL), provided an overview of the Group Insurance Scheme (GIS) and other insurance products, with discussions on their benefits, coverage, and relevant procedures. Interested staff were also provided with guidance on accessing the relevant insurance services.

This was followed by an awareness session by the Royal Society for Senior Citizens (RSSC), Thimphu, a Public Benefit Organization working to promote the well-being, dignity, and meaningful engagement of senior citizens in Bhutan. The session highlighted the services and support initiatives of the organisation, the challenges faced by senior citizens, and opportunities for greater community and intergenerational engagement in supporting older persons.

Together, the sessions enhanced staff awareness of insurance services and financial protection, as well as the importance of community support and collective responsibility towards the well-being of senior citizens.

The College extends its appreciation to RICBL and RSSC for the informative sessions and for sharing their valuable services and initiatives with the College community.
