Today, 27 October, the School Well-being Team conducted an awareness session for students from Grades IV to XII on how to report bullying using the online platform introduced by the Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD).

The session also highlighted the importance of seeking help, using media responsibly, and caring for ourselves and others.

Together, we can make our community a safe, caring, and supportive place for everyone!

The Trial Examinations for classes VI, VIII, X and XII concluded successfully today.

The Trial Practical Examinations for the Science Stream will be held from Monday, 26th to Wednesday, 28th October 2026.

We are proud to share that Kinley Pema Wangchuk of our school has secured FOURTH PLACE in the national youth essay competition “𝑨 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑽𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑮𝑴𝑪,” organised by Pelsung (Innovation Lab, Pelsung), under the theme “𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆, 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆, 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵.”

Global Handwashing Day was observed today,15 October 2026, during the morning assembly.
The programme began with a speech by the Girls’ Health Captain, highlighting the importance and benefits of regular handwashing in preventing the spread of diseases and maintaining good health.

The two Health Captains, together with the School Health In-charge, demonstrated the proper steps of handwashing during the morning assembly. Following the demonstration, class and subject teachers guided students in practising proper handwashing at designated areas around the school.

The observation aimed to promote good hygiene practices and encourage every student to make proper handwashing a daily habit.

Forty-five Lungdhar flags have been hoisted along the stretch from the school gate to the parking area, along with one Lhadhar at the parking area.

This is a special offering from the student body to seek good luck, blessings and success in the smooth conduct of examinations, as well as the well-being of the entire Lamgong HSS family.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the students for their generous contribution and to everyone who worked behind the successful installation of the Lungdhar and Lhadhar.

On this auspicious occasion, we would also like to wish the students of Classes VI, VIII, X and XII the very best for their Trial Examinations, commencing tomorrow, 15 October. May your hard work and preparation bring you success. Stay focused, give your best and believe in yourselves.
