I can also simply help assist you with anything that you need in English: This could be a letter that needs writing, speaking to someone on the phone or translating a document. My name is Helen and I am from England and been currently living in Brazil for almost 2 years in Rio teaching English to private and group classes. My profession in the UK was as an early years educator. I have 20 years’ experience of working with children from babies up to 8 years old and through my role as a Regional Principal for 8 years, I was responsible for training the staff teams that worked with the children. When teaching and learning it is important that everyone is interested, stimulated, learning at their own pace and having fun. My classes are mix of grammar rules, conversation, listening and reading and writing. I have an abundance of grammar books for us to choose from, so you can select the best style for you. I create lots of different activities, some using music and audio all to assist with the learning process and I can adapt classes to suit the individual needs of the learner. I also run two different session for groups of children called English Stars. One session consists of singing, dancing and games all in English introducing colours, numbers, animals and everyday objects; age range from 2 to 8 years. This could be an option to make a birthday party different. I also have a baby sensory class, which consist of nursery rhymes and different sensory activities for example balloons filled with water.
