Under the leadership of the First Lady Emine Erdoğan, The Embassy, in conjunction with the belated Hari Raya program of Brunei MFA and in cooperation with Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Centre celebrated the fifth year of Turkish Cuisine Week under the theme “ The Heritage Table”, which highlights traditions, memories, and shared culture reflected in Turkish Cuisine.

Friends of Türkiye had the opportunity to enjoy a selection of traditional Turkish delicacies, including baklava, künefe, çiğ köfte, sarma, dolma and many more, prepared by the Executive Chef of the Embassy, Adem Can.

H.E. Prof. Dr. Hamit Ersoy as Ambassador and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Brunei, received H.E. Nawaf Fahad Alsaied, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Brunei for a courtesy call. Both sides discussed matters ranging from education of their own children to the current state of international affairs.

The meeting reflected the strong friendship and diplomatic ties between the two countries, as well as the spirit of cooperation within the diplomatic community in Brunei Darussalam.
