Ambassador Gines D. Gallaga led the officers and staff of the Philippine Embassy during its flag raising ceremony held on 07 September 2026 at the Sentro Rizal, in commemoration of the 2026 Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo).

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 316, s. 2017, MANA Mo is observed every month of September to promote greater awareness of the Philippines as a maritime and archipelagic nation, and the importance of protecting its maritime rights, marine resources, and coastal communities.

The Philippine Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain conducted its Lingkod Kababayan Friday at the Embassy on 04 September 2026, servicing 210 clients on consular matters, Overseas Voter Registration, contract verification, and OWWA and SSS services.

Applicants were also able to consult with Pag-IBIG representatives on concerns related to membership, loans, and other related issues virtually.

The Embassy continues to conduct Lingkod Kababayan Fridays on a monthly basis to better serve the Filipino community in Bahrain by making government services accessible to the public beyond regular operating hours.
