📌 Когато говорим за енергийна сигурност, трябва да отчитаме пряката ѝ взаимовръзка с икономическата и националната сигурност. Сигурността е пряко сързана с ангажираността на лидерите и доверието между партньори.

🤝 Именно на това се основава сътрудничеството между #България и #Азербайджан. Наскоро се навършиха 34 години от установяването на дипломатически отношения между двете държави, като и от двете страни е факт желанието партньорството да се задълбочи. През тези години енергетиката се утвърди като един от водещите стълбове на успешното взаимодействие, което резултира в споделена визия за енергийната сигурност и свързаността.

🇧🇬 🇦🇿 Министърът на енергетиката Ива Петрова се срещна днес с посланика на Република Азербайджан - Н. Пр. г-н Елмар Мамадов.

🔷 Теми на разговора бяха развитието на зелените енергийни коридори от Каспийския регион към Европа, потенциала за увеличаване на доставките на природен газ от държавната азербайджанска компания SOCAR за България и региона, също както и възможностите за инвестиции от страна на Азербайджан в България.

🧩 Зеленият енергиен коридор е проект, иницииран през 2024 г. от президентите Радев и Алиев. Той ще разшири възможностите за пренос и търговия с възобновяема електроенергия между двата региона. По време на Третата министерска среща, проведена на 22 май 2026 г. в Истанбул, бе обсъдено и ускореното подписване на Междуправителствено споразумение за реализирането му между енергийните министерства на България, Азербайджан, Турция и Грузия.

🇦🇿🌍 Proud to represent Azerbaijan at the BSS Annual International Festival 2026!

Today, Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage was showcased alongside many nations from around the world at the British School of Sofia’s Annual International Festival.

Visitors enjoyed traditional Azerbaijani hospitality, authentic national cuisine, including Shah Plov, Fisinjan, Nakhchivan Pie, Lavangi, Azerbaijani tea and Pakhlava, while our beautifully decorated stand featured traditional artefacts and cultural elements reflecting the spirit of Azerbaijan.

A special highlight of the day was the performance of the traditional Azerbaijani “Uzundere” dance by Azerbaijani students, which captivated the audience and brought the vibrant rhythms of our culture to life.

Днес отбелязваме 34-та годишнина от установяването на дипломатически отношения между Република Азербайджан 🇦🇿 и Република България 🇧🇬 на 5 юни 1992 г.
Двустранните отношения между нашите държави постепенно се развиха в силно стратегическо партньорство. През 2015 г., по време на официалното посещение на Илхам Алиев в София, двете държави подписаха Декларация за стратегическо партньорство. Това сътрудничество бе издигнато на още по-високо ниво чрез Декларацията за укрепване на стратегическото партньорство, подписана през 2024 г. по време на посещението на Румен Радев в Баку.
Изградени върху взаимно доверие, приятелство и ползотворно сътрудничество, отношенията между Азербайджан и България продължават да се развиват в полза на нашите народи.🇦🇿🤝🇧🇬

Bu gün Azərbaycan Respublikası 🇦🇿 ilə Bolqarıstan Respublikası 🇧🇬 arasında diplomatik münasibətlərin qurulmasının 34-cü ildönümünü qeyd edirik.

Ölkələrimiz arasında münasibətlər ötən illər ərzində ardıcıl şəkildə inkişaf edərək möhkəm strateji tərəfdaşlıq səviyyəsinə yüksəlmişdir. 2015-ci ildə Prezident İlham Əliyevin Sofiyaya rəsmi səfəri çərçivəsində Azərbaycan və Bolqarıstan arasında Strateji Tərəfdaşlıq haqqında Birgə Bəyannamə imzalanmışdır. Bu əməkdaşlıq çərçivəsi 2024-cü ildə Prezident Rumen Radevin Bakıya səfəri zamanı imzalanmış Strateji Tərəfdaşlığın Gücləndirilməsi haqqında Birgə Bəyannamə ilə daha da inkişaf etdirilmişdir.

Today, we mark the 34th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan 🇦🇿and the Republic of Bulgaria 🇧🇬on 5 June 1992.

Our bilateral ties have steadily evolved into a strong strategic partnership. In 2015, during the official visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Sofia, our countries signed the Declaration on Strategic Partnership. This framework was further elevated through the Declaration on Strengthening the Strategic Partnership, signed in 2024 during the visit of President Rumen Radev to Baku.

Built on mutual trust, friendship, and fruitful cooperation, Azerbaijan-Bulgaria relations continue to grow for the benefit of our peoples. 🇦🇿🤝🇧🇬

Tomorrow, on 5 June 2026, Baku 🇦🇿 will proudly host World Environment Day (WED) jointly with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), reaffirming Azerbaijan’s commitment to sustainability, climate resilience, and international environmental dialogue and action.

The idea of living in harmony with nature has deep roots in Azerbaijan’s intellectual and cultural heritage. As early as the 12th century, the great Azerbaijani poet and philosopher Nizami Ganjavi reflected in his poetry on the interconnectedness of humanity and the natural world, emphasizing the importance of balance, stewardship, and respect for the environment.

Guided by these enduring values, Azerbaijan continues to contribute actively to global environmental and sustainable development agendas through major international platforms, including COP29, WUF13 and World Environment Day - 2026 in Baku; and other regional and international forums.

As we gather in Baku to mark World Environment Day, we look forward to fostering dialogue, strengthening partnerships, and advancing collective action for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for all.

Today, Ambassador Elmar Mammadov had the pleasure of joining the panel discussion moderated by Dr. Ventzeslav Sabev on Sustainable Economic Diplomacy at Green Transition Forum 6.0 ( ) alongside his fellow Ambassadors in Sofia: H.E. Mehmet Sait Uyanik , Ambassador of 🇹🇷; H.E. Pierre Hagmann, Ambassador of🇨🇭 and H.E. Irene Maria Plank, Ambassador of 🇩🇪, as well as the distinguished Bulgarian speaker Dr. Meglena Kuneva, former Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of European Affairs and European Commissioner.

He highlighted the vision of the great 12th century Azerbaijani poet and philosopher, Nizami Ganjavi, who emphasized through his works the importance of harmony between people and nature — a vision that Azerbaijan is advancing today through concrete global, regional, and national initiatives.

The Ambassador also noted that this week Azerbaijan is hosting Baku Energy Week, bringing together international partners to discuss and advance energy security and green energy solutions. He further highlighted that, at the end of this week, on 5 June, Azerbaijan, in partnership with the , will host World Environment Day (WED), demonstrating the importance of a balanced approach that combines energy security with the green agenda.

During the discussion, he highlighted the key outcomes, as well as the global and regional legacies of and , stressing the need for stronger synergy between energy security and climate action, a stronger development dimension within the climate agenda, and enhanced energy, digital, and transport connectivity between 🇦🇿 — a key driver of the Middle Corridor and a gateway to Central Asia — and 🇧🇬, a gateway to the European Union, as well as their neighboring countries.

On International Children’s Day, we celebrate Azerbaijan’s long-standing commitment to empowering future generations.
More than a century ago, in 1901, Azerbaijani philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev founded the first secular school for girls in Baku, opening new opportunities for education and social progress. His vision — “If you educate a boy, you educate one person. If you educate a girl, you educate an entire family” — helped shape a future where every child could learn, grow, and contribute to society. A pioneering institution of its time, the school became a symbol of girls’ education and empowerment in the Muslim East. More than a century later, its legacy continues to remind us that education is one of the most powerful investments in a child’s future.
Today, that commitment continues through initiatives such as the COP29 Baku Guiding Principles on Human Development for Climate Resilience, which place children and youth at the center of climate action, education, health, and sustainable development. The principles emphasize climate-resilient education systems, climate literacy, and the protection of children’s rights and well-being in a changing world.

🇧🇬🇦🇿 В Дипломатическия институт се проведе работна среща между директора на Института г-жа Таня Михайлова и посланика на Азербайджан Н.Пр. Елмар Маммадов.

✅ Основен акцент в разговора бе развитието на двустранното сътрудничество в контекста на две годишнини през тази година — 34 години от установяването на дипломатическите отношения между България и Азербайджан и 15 години от подписването на Меморандума за разбирателство между Дипломатическия институт и Университета ADA – Азербайджанската дипломатическа академия.

ℹ️ В рамките на срещата г-жа Михайлова представи ключовите обучителни програми и публични инициативи на Дипломатическия институт. Тя подчерта значението на специализираната подготовка и обмена на добри практики за надграждането на уменията в дипломатическата служба.

➡️ От своя страна, Н.Пр. Маммадов даде висока оценка на дейността на Института в направления като енергийната, икономическата, научната и религиозната дипломация, като изрази готовност за надграждане на сътрудничеството и активно съдействие при реализирането на бъдещи инициативи.
