Life-saving equipment

Thanks to Canada's support and its partnership with UNFPA Burkina Faso, three ambulances, 200 hospital beds, 115 delivery tables, as well as medical equipment and essential medical supplies, were handed over to the Ministry of Health of Burkina Faso (Ministère de la Santé - MS Burkina Faso).

This support will help improve access to healthcare, support the gradual reopening of health facilities, and strengthen maternal and newborn health services for the benefit of communities, particularly women, girls, and the most vulnerable populations.

Through the PROSSEC project, funded by Canada’s International Development – Global Affairs Canada, Canada is proud to support 's efforts to provide essential health services where they are needed most.

Ambassador Amb Tina Guthrie was pleased to take part in the handover ceremony alongside the Minister of Health and the Representative in .
