The Minister for Foreign Affairs and International
Trade of Papua New Guinea HE Hon. Patrick Pruaitch (left) present a gift to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) HE Hon Sultan Al Shamsi, after their bilateral meeting at the margins of the International Participants Meeting (IPM) in Dubai from 29-30 November 2019.

They exchanged views on development cooperation matters, including entering into an Air Services Agreement between the two countries.

Hon. Patrick Pruaitch took the opportunity to thank His Excellency Mr. Al Shamsi on the cost of constructing a separate Expo2020 Pavilion for Papua New Guinea. All the cost of construction and upkeep of the pavilion will be met by the UAE.

The Department of Foreign Affairs in Port Moresby is leading the preparations for the PNG team to Expo2020.

accompanied by Papua New Guinea’s Ambassador to Belgium, EU and the ACP, His Excellency Mr. Joshua Kalinoe (left) arrives at the Jomo Kenyatta Convention Centre Nairobi. Minister Pruaitch chaired the 79 member strong ACP MinisterialCouncil Meeting on 7 December 2019.

He also chaired the co-chaired the joint meeting of the ACP Council and Ministers
of Foreign Affairs with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kenya, Her Excellency Monica Juma.
