05/6 — Menko Perekonomian RI Airlangga Hartarto melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Brussels, 🇧🇪. Ia bertemu dengan EU Commissioner for Trade & Economic Security Maroš Šefčovič. Keduanya sepakat melanjutkan kerja sama menuju penandatanganan & ratifikasi IEU-CEPA 🇮🇩–🇪🇺 yang diharapkan memberi manfaat bersama, meningkatkan perdagangan & investasi melalui perluasan akses pasar serta fasilitasi perdagangan. Juga dibahas isu strategis & peluang kerja sama ekonomi bilateral untuk memperkuat hubungan RI–UE di bidang perdagangan & ketahanan ekonomi.

Both agreed to continue cooperation toward signing & ratifying the IEU-CEPA 🇮🇩–🇪🇺, expected to bring mutual benefits and boost trade & investment via expanded market access and trade facilitation. They also discussed strategic issues and bilateral economic cooperation to strengthen Indonesia–EU ties in trade and economic security.

05/6 — Le ministre coordinateur des Affaires économiques d’Indonésie, Airlangga Hartarto, s’est rendu à Bruxelles, 🇧🇪, et a rencontré le commissaire européen Maroš Šefčovič. Les deux parties ont convenu de poursuivre la coopération en vue de la signature et de la ratification de l’IEU-CEPA 🇮🇩–🇪🇺, visant des bénéfices mutuels et une hausse des échanges et investissements via un accès élargi aux marchés et une facilitation du commerce. 30/05 — KBRI Brussel bekerjasama dgn “Native Indonesia” menyelenggarakan acara “Kaki Lima” di Leuven yang dihadiri sekitar 300 warga 🇮🇩🇧🇪

Festival masyarakat yang berisi kuliner, seni, musik dan tari ini menjadi sarana untuk memperkenalkan Indonesia kepada masyarakat Belgia juga dihadiri Wali Kota Leuven.

Dubes Andy Rachmianto menyampaikan apresiasi kepada “Native Indonesia” atas upaya berkesinambungan dalam memperkenalkan Indonesia kepada publik di Belgia. Sampai jumpa pada acara “Kaki Lima” berikutnya.

30/05 — The Indonesian Embassy in Brussels, in collaboration with “Native Indonesia”, organized a “Kaki Lima” event in Leuven, attended by around 300 people 🇮🇩🇧🇪

This community festival, featuring cuisine, art, music, and dance, served as a platform to introduce Indonesia to the Belgian public and was also attended by the Mayor of Leuven.

Ambassador Andy Rachmianto expressed his appreciation to “Native Indonesia” for its ongoing efforts to introduce Indonesia to the public in Belgium. See you at the next “Kaki Lima” event.

Ce festival communautaire, mettant à l’honneur la cuisine, l’art, la musique et la danse, a servi de plateforme pour faire découvrir l’Indonésie au public belge et a également accueilli le maire de Louvain.

Ambassador Andy Rachmianto delighted to hold an introductory meeting with H. E. Moussa Batraki, Secretary General of at the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) in Brussels, 29 May 2026.

The meeting is to lay the groundwork for strengthening future development cooperation as follow up from the signing of Cooperation Agreement on Development Cooperation, signed in Malabo, March 2026.

Dubes RI Brussel menerima kunjungan CEO Halal Food Council Europe (HFCE), Mr. Mounif Kilani (29/5). Pertemuan membahas perkembangan kerja sama HFCE-BPJPH RI terkait akreditasi lembaga sertifikasi halal, isu terkini seputar industri halal global, serta prospek dan tantangan kolaborasi halal Indonesia-Eropa.

The Indonesian Ambassador in Brussels received a visit from the CEO of Halal Food Council Europe (HFCE), Mr. Mounif Kilani (29/5). The meeting discussed the progress of HFCE-BPJPH RI cooperation regarding the accreditation of halal certification bodies, current issues surrounding the global halal industry, as well as the prospects and challenges of Indonesia-Europe halal collaboration.

L’Ambassadeur d’Indonésie à Bruxelles a reçu la visite du PDG du Halal Food Council Europe (HFCE), M. Mounif Kilani (29/5). La réunion a porté sur l’avancement de la coopération HFCE-BPJPH RI concernant l’accréditation des organismes de certification halal, les enjeux actuels de l’industrie halal mondiale, ainsi que les perspectives et défis de la collaboration halal entre l’Indonésie et l’Europe.

Pada 21 Mei, KBRI Brussel melaksanakan Pertemuan Like-Minded Countries (LMCs) guna membahas perkembangan terkini terkait EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Pertemuan dipimpin oleh Wakil Kepala Perwakilan KBRI Brussel dan dihadiri oleh sejumlah perwakilan LMCs yang terdampak EUDR.

Pertemuan menekankan agar EUDR, termasuk upaya penyederhanaannya oleh Komisi Eropa, harus secara nyata memperhatikan kepentingan dan tantangan yang dihadapi negara produsen, khususnya petani kecil, bukan semata-mata mempermudah pemenuhan kewajiban bagi operator Uni Eropa.

Indonesia akan terus berkoordinasi erat dengan negara-negara LMCs untuk mendorong EUDR yang adil, inklusif, dan dapat diterapkan secara efektif oleh seluruh pemangku kepentingan.

On 21 May, the Indonesian Embassy in Brussels convened a meeting of Like-Minded Countries (LMCs) to discuss the latest developments concerning the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). The meeting was chaired by the Embassy’s Deputy Chief of Mission and attended by representatives of several LMCs affected by the EUDR.

The meeting emphasised that the EUDR, including the European Commission’s simplification efforts, must genuinely take into account the interests and challenges faced by producing countries, particularly smallholders, rather than merely facilitating compliance for European Union operators.

Indonesia will continue to coordinate closely with fellow LMCs to promote an EUDR that is fair, inclusive, and effectively implementable by all stakeholders.

Le 21 mai, l’Ambassade d’Indonésie à Bruxelles a organisé une réunion des pays partageant les mêmes vues (Like‑Minded Countries – LMCs) afin d’examiner les développements récents concernant le Règlement de l’Union européenne sur la déforestation (EUDR). La réunion, présidée par le Chef de mission adjoint de l’Ambassade, a rassemblé des représentants de plusieurs LMCs concernés par la mise en œuvre de l’EUDR.

Les participants ont souligné que l’EUDR — y compris les efforts de simplification entrepris par la Commission européenne — doit véritablement tenir compte des intérêts et des défis auxquels sont confrontés les pays producteurs, en particulier les petits exploitants, plutôt que de se limiter à faciliter le respect des obligations pour les opérateurs de l’Union européenne.

L’Indonésie poursuivra sa coordination étroite avec les autres LMCs afin de promouvoir un EUDR équitable, inclusif et effectivement applicable par l’ensemble des parties prenantes.
