🎉 Yesterday, GentCongres was thrilled to join Eurostar's 30th-anniversary celebrations at the Radisson Blu in Brussels, alongside our fellow art cities in Flanders and the VISITFLANDERS Convention Bureau.
Representing Ghent, our own Elly Dermaut and Céline De Waegenaere showcased a unique local treat - the “gestreken mastel”- prepared live on-site with iron and apron in hand!
The aroma filled the air, perfectly capturing our motto: "It smells like Christmas and tastes like Ghent."
We loved sharing this authentic Ghent experience with attendees from across Europe and celebrating Eurostar’s legacy of connecting us all. Here’s to many more years of connection and collaboration! 🌍✨

We're thrilled to welcome the European Jazz Conference 2024 here in Ghent! 🌟 From September 12th to 15th, jazz enthusiasts and professionals from 39 countries are gathering in our vibrant city to celebrate the artistry and creativity of jazz music.

🎶 As part of this prestigious event, 25 Belgian jazz bands will be performing at 10 different locations across Ghent during these four days! Curated by an international jury, the lineup showcases the best of Belgian jazz, with most performances being free to attend.

🎷The conference, which welcomes 450 participants, places a special focus on young jazz musicians in recognition of Ghent’s title as European Youth Capital.
