Welcome to June! Summer is here, isn't it? The libraries are getting ready for summer with our annual Summer Reading Program. In fact, registration opened today! You can sign up for free at https://shapeinternational.beanstack.org/ or through the Beanstack app. Any questions? Just stop by and ask at either the SHAPE or Chievres libraries, and we'll be glad to help!

As a reminder, there are no story times or Makerspace programs at either library until our summer programming schedule begins June 29. The libraries are still open our regular hours, though, so feel to stop by and see what else is going on!

Do you want to connect with other gardening enthusiasts? Come take advantage of the beautiful weather, and join other green thumbs at the SHAPE Community Garden Meet & Greet this morning, Saturday May 23.

The garden is located behind the SHAPE International Library. No registration or experience is needed. Open to all in the SHAPE community.

The SHAPE International Library will be closed on Monday, May 25 for the SHAPE Holiday. The Chievres Branch Library will also be closed, according to its usual Monday schedule.

Today (Saturday May 23) is the last day to check out anything to read, watch, play, or otherwise relax with on the holiday, so make sure you stop by one of your local libraries today.

Enjoy the long weekend, and we'll see you again on Tuesday!

We got inspired by the sunny weather that's finally here: come create a suncatcher at the Makerspot this afternoon at the SHAPE International SHAPE International Library!

Join us in the Makerspace for Maker Spot this afternoon, Thurs May 21, between 3-6pm for crafting, building, creating, and all sorts of hands-on fun! And don't forget to stop by and check our what The Bookshop Mons has for sale too!

No registration required. Open to all ages. Children must be at least 10 years old to be left alone.
