The Brussels Street Photography Festival (BSPF) honored legendary photographer Josef Koudelka with their Lifetime Achievement Award. The tribute was a major highlight of the festival's 10th-anniversary celebration, where he was the special guest of honor.

The Brussels Street Photography Festival (BSPF) is pleased to announce that Josef Koudelka, one of the most iconic photographers of our time, will be the guest of honor at this year’s 10th-anniversary celebration.

Koudelka will receive the festival’s Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to photography during a special evening at Brussels City Hall on May 30, 2026. The event will also feature an interview with the photographer and the announcement of this year’s competition winners.

On Wednesday, May 6 2026, members of the Czech national delegation to the European Committee of the Regions met at the Prague House to prepare common positions ahead of the upcoming plenary session.

This time, the meeting also featured a special presentation by Deputy Minister for Regional Development Olga Nebeská, who shared the latest updates on negotiations surrounding the future EU cohesion policy legislation for the post-2028 period.

Curated by Magdalena Juříková and Helena Musilová, the exhibition presents the iconic work of one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary photography.
