We welcome the political agreement reached in the trilogue on the EU Returns Regulation, which defines clear rules for those staying in the EU illegally. The regulation also enables Member States to establish return hubs in third countries, strengthening the external dimension of EU migration policy, and it is based on the model of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni successfully implemented in Albania.
