EN: Our key goal is to familiarise people in Belgium with the history, language and culture of Poland, as well as use Belgium as a platform on which to unveil the latest Polish intellectual and artistic news and events. Our job is to encourage an exchange between Poland and Belgium in the fields of culture, education and human and exact science. In order to make this happen, we collaborate with Be
lgian institutions and NGOs as well as with festivals, not-for-profit organisations, etc. The Polish Institute is supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. It is part of an international network of 21 Polish institutes which work on the same tasks. We are also a member of Eunic in Brussels.

NL: Ons doel bestaat erin om de kennis van de Poolse geschiedenis, taal en cultuur te bevorderen in België. Ook willen we jullie op de hoogte houden van de intellectuele en artistieke ontwikkelingen in het Polen van vandaag. We willen tussen onze beide landen uitwisselingen aanmoedigen qua cultuur, onderwijs en wetenschap (zowel de exacte als de menswetenschappen). Hierbij werken we samen met Belgische instellingen en ngo’s, maar ook met festivals, vzw’s en andere partners. Het Pools Instituut is werkzaam onder auspiciën van het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken van de Republiek Polen, en maakt deel uit van een internationaal netwerk van 21 Poolse instellingen die dezelfde belangen behartigen. Wij zijn ook lid van EUNIC.

FR: Notre but est de faire connaître l'histoire, la langue et la culture polonaises en Belgique ainsi que d'y présenter l'actualité intellectuelle et artistique polonaise. Notre travail consiste à encourager les échanges entre la Pologne et la Belgique dans le domaine de la culture, de l'éducation et des sciences humaines et exactes. A cette fin nous collaborons avec des institutions et des ONG belges, mais également avec des festivals, des ASBL, etc. L'Institut Polonais agit sous la tutelle du Ministère des Affaires Etrangères de la République de Pologne. Il fait partie d'un réseau international de 21 Instituts polonais qui travaillent à la même tâche que lui.
