During the Diderot ceremony in Turin, the Ukom Orchestra and the Elite Ensemble, with artistic director Carlo Taffuri and violinist Adrian Pinzaru, played some amazing music from movies, including Lord of the Rings, Interstellar and Once Upon a Time in the West 🎶

Grazie al progetto Diderot, finanziato dalla Fondazione CRT, nell’anno 2025-26 i formatori di Leonardo 4 Children hanno svolto laboratori nelle scuole partecipanti coinvolgendo oltre 11,100 bambini e adolescenti di 600 classi, sviluppando la loro creatività e capacità artistiche e scientifiche sui temi del clima, dell'uguaglianza e della pace con metodologie innovative.

🎶 Presenta la giornalista Franca Cassine. Si esibiranno con bellissime musiche da film l’orchestra UKOM ed Elite Ensemble diretta dal maestro Carlo Taffuri e la scuola di danza di Cirié.

L'evento ha il patrocinio del Parlamento Europeo, Commissione Europea, Regione Piemonte, Città di Torino e IUSE.

We received 166 applications from 16 countries. 🌍

🏆 The Juries will announce the top winners of each category mid-June.

Our annual awards ceremony and concert will take place on 9 October 2026 in Brussels.

“In 2023, I participated in the Leonardo 4 Music Award, an initiative by the Carano 4 Children Foundation. Receiving first prize was not only a great honor, but also a significant boost to my artistic path.

Today, I am presenting spinnen (2025), a false concerto for violin, electronics, video & ensemble, a work made possible thanks to the equipment I was able to acquire with the prize awarded by the Foundation. I remain deeply grateful for this experience and support.”

“First of all the teenagers, with their own musical intruments, will strength their memory skills, they will be able to focus on progress and of course to boost their confidence! Sure this may be a motivation, as they can practice anytime and in their own place, to compose their own music or improve as singers! In addition they gain valuable life skills such as discipline, perseverance and confidence.

The students now, with their own instruments in hand, can explore their creativity, improve their technique and develop their artistic potential! The teens can delve deeper into their instrument or even in vocal technique, discovering new dimensions of their talent! And of course they will improve their prospects and strengthen their audition portfolios!”
