What they call a “Return Regulation,” we call it what it is: deportation.

This Monday, the Commission, Council and Parliament came to agreement on how to deport and detain people massively. This will mean:

• Detention in Europe’s very own Guantánamos
• ICE-style raids
• The possibility of deporting children without parents or guardians
• Coordinating deportations with the Taliban

Europe is reaching a turning point. The normalisation of far-right policies that undermine fundamental rights should alarm anyone who believes in democracy and human rights.

The Left will keep resisting this atrocity.

It’s Pride month, and suddenly (as usual) corporations and governments will rediscover their long-lost passion for rainbows 🌈🦄✨

They will slap on rainbow logos, boast about being LGBTQIA+ friendly while continuing to profit from exploitation, war, hate, and state violence, or while failing to protect LGBTQIA+ people from discrimination and abuse.

Behind the glitter, what’s really going on?

Even in Europe, conversion practices are still not banned everywhere, that’s why the European Citizens’ Initiative to ban conversion therapy matters.

Because Pride is not a marketing strategy. It’s a riot. It’s resistance. It’s an ongoing fight.

Can we stop companies from destroying games before GTA VI drops?

The gaming community has already spoken loud and clear . And the solutions already exist: keeping offline modes playable, allowing community-hosted servers, and/or creating a public library of video games to preserve them.

As MEP said: protecting players, industry workers and preserving our cultural heritage shouldn’t come at a cost.

Now the next move is up to the European Commission; defend gamers, industry’s workers, and culture; or side once again with corporate interests and profit.

You cannot claim to uphold human rights while simultaneously supplying the very weapons used to violate them. Every vote to continue arms exports is a vote against international law and against basic humanity.

As Gaza is devastated, people killed, and humanitarian access is obstructed, opposing an arms embargo means enabling the ongoing destruction of Palestine.

The Left says no. Stop the weapons, stop the enabling, and stop the complicity.

A third Eid under bombs, hunger, and siege. Meanwhile: Israel passes a de facto mandatory death penalty aimed exclusively at Palestinians. Flotilla activists are tortured and harassed. And the European Union? Continues trading with Israel.

End the complicity. Suspend the EU-Israel trade agreement. Now.

Nice and warm outside?
Europe’s 40°C heatwave reflects a climate crisis that is one of the defining social justice issues of the century. The richest 1% pollute more than over 4 billion people, cooking the planet for profit.
Capitalism, no matter how green you paint it, means endless profit at the expense of our future.
Climate justice is social justice.
The fix is simple: Make Big Polluters Pay. Tax the Rich. Fight for a just Transition.

“Complicity with genocide” is not a slogan. It is EU leaders continuing to trade with Israel, refusing sanctions, criminalising activists, and failing to protect humanitarian missions like the flotilla while Gaza is under attack.

End the EU-Israel association agreement. Now.

The most powerful woman in the EU invited Afghan people to Brussels…
Not to discuss the oppression of women and girls.
Not to discuss human rights.

But to discuss the deportation of Afghan people out of Europe.

This Commission is so obsessed with deportations and pursuing the far right agenda that it seems to have no problem negotiating directly with the Taliban.

How can they claim to defend human rights while legitimising a regime that imposes gender apartheid?

Who’s next? ISIS? Netanyahu?

That’s the logic behind the EU-US trade deal being locked tonight: pretending you can manage coercion, pressure, and bad-faith politics into a “partnership”.

In reality, it means unfair tariffs, massive EU purchases of US energy and weapons, and Europe accepting the rules of someone else’s game.

The Left says no to this agreement. The EU doesn’t need fixing someone else, it needs to stop being pushed around.
