১৮ অক্টোবর ২০২৬, শনিবার, বিয়ানীবাজার ক্যান্সার অ্যান্ড জেনারেল হাসপাতাল ফাউন্ডেশন কর্তৃক জকিগঞ্জ উপজেলার বারোহাল এলাকার চক কোনাগ্রাম সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় প্রাঙ্গণে বিনামূল্যে মোবাইল ক্লিনিক সেবার আয়োজন করা হয়।
মোবাইল ক্লিনিক কার্যক্রমে অভিজ্ঞ চিকিৎসকদের মাধ্যমে রোগীদের সাধারণ চিকিৎসাসেবা প্রদান করা হয়। পাশাপাশি জরায়ুমুখ ও স্তন ক্যান্সার স্ক্রিনিং, ডায়াবেটিস পরীক্ষা, রক্তের হিমোগ্লোবিন পরীক্ষা এবং প্রয়োজন অনুযায়ী পায়ুপথ ও অ্যানাল ক্যান্সার স্ক্রিনিং-সংক্রান্ত সেবা প্রদান করা হয়। চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী রোগীদের প্রয়োজনীয় ওষুধও বিনামূল্যে সরবরাহ করা হয়।
চিকিৎসাসেবার পাশাপাশি আয়োজিত হয় বিভিন্ন স্বাস্থ্যশিক্ষা ও সচেতনতামূলক কার্যক্রম। এসব কার্যক্রমে বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয় স্তন ক্যান্সারের প্রাথমিক লক্ষণ শনাক্তকরণ, নিজে নিজে স্তন পরীক্ষা করার পদ্ধতি এবং সামগ্রিক স্বাস্থ্যসচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির ওপর। এর মাধ্যমে জনগণকে ক্যান্সার প্রতিরোধ, প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে রোগ শনাক্তকরণ এবং সময়মতো চিকিৎসা গ্রহণে উৎসাহিত করা হয়।
স্থানীয় গণ্যমান্য ব্যক্তিবর্গ ও এলাকাবাসীর সার্বিক সহযোগিতায় মোবাইল ক্লিনিক কার্যক্রমটি সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন হয়। প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলের মানুষের দোরগোড়ায় প্রয়োজনীয় স্বাস্থ্যসেবা পৌঁছে দেওয়া এবং ক্যান্সারসহ বিভিন্ন রোগ সম্পর্কে জনসচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে এ ধরনের উদ্যোগ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।

Beanibazar Cancer & General Hospital Foundation organized a free mobile clinic at the premises of Chak Konagram Government Primary School in the Barohal area of Zakiganj Upazila, Sylhet.
During the mobile clinic programme, experienced physicians provided general medical services to patients. The services also included cervical and breast cancer screening, diabetes testing, blood haemoglobin testing, and screening services for a**l conditions and a**l cancer, as appropriate. Necessary medicines were also provided to patients free of charge based on medical advice.
In addition to medical services, various health education and awareness activities were conducted. Special emphasis was placed on recognizing the early signs of breast cancer, learning the technique of breast self-examination, and promoting overall health awareness. These initiatives aimed to encourage people to understand the importance of cancer prevention, early detection, and timely medical treatment.
The mobile clinic programme was successfully conducted with the overall support and cooperation of local dignitaries and community members. Such initiatives play an important role in bringing essential healthcare services to the doorsteps of people in remote areas and raising public awareness about cancer and other health conditions.
