ঐতিহাসিক মুজিবনগর দিবস

১৭ এপ্রিল বাংলাদেশের ইতিহাসে এক গৌরবময় ও স্মরণীয় দিন—মুজিবনগর দিবস। ১৯৭১ সালের এই দিনে স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রাম ও মুক্তিযুদ্ধের ধারাকে সুসংগঠিত করতে তৎকালীন মেহেরপুর মহকুমার বৈদ্যনাথতলার আম্রকাননে স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশের প্রথম সরকার শপথ গ্রহণ করে।

এই সরকার, যা মুজিবনগর সরকার নামে পরিচিত, বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতার আনুষ্ঠানিক রাজনৈতিক ভিত্তি রচনা করে। জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানকে রাষ্ট্রপতি, সৈয়দ নজরুল ইসলামকে উপরাষ্ট্রপতি এবং তাজউদ্দীন আহমদকে প্রধানমন্ত্রী করে সরকার গঠন করা হয়।

মুজিবনগর সরকারের এই শপথ গ্রহণ শুধু একটি প্রশাসনিক পদক্ষেপই ছিল না; এটি ছিল মুক্তিযুদ্ধকে আন্তর্জাতিকভাবে বৈধতা দেওয়া এবং সংগঠিতভাবে পরিচালনার এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মাইলফলক।
