লর্ড কর্নওয়ালিস এর সময় ১৭৯৩ সালে চিরস্থায়ী বন্দোবস্ত প্রবর্তন হলে যে জরিপ হয় সেই জরিপে এই বাড়িটি ইকরছই মৌজার ৩৮ নং দাগ নম্বরে রেকর্ড হয়। জমির শ্রেনী ভিটা এবং জায়গার পরিমাণ প্রায় ১৮ কেদার।

Dutch-Bangla Bank has opened its 243rd Branch at Jagannathpur, Sunamganj (Millenium Trade Centre -1st Floor, Holding No. 0167-00, Bir Muktijuddha Barrister Mirza Abdul Matin Estate, T&T Road) on April 16, 2025.

Mr. Md. Abedur Rahman Sikder, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank formally inaugurated the branch. A Dua Mahfil was held seeking blessings of the Almighty Allah for successful operation of the Branch, prosperity of the business community, depositors and stakeholders of the Bank.

Like other Dutch-Bangla Bank branches, this branch will provide On-line Banking facilities including ATM & CRM services, Retail, SME & Corporate loans, Credit Card, Agent Banking, Mobile Banking and Foreign Remittance services to the clients from the opening day.

Local dignitaries, businessmen, industrialists and other guests attended the opening program.
