Hatiya

Hatiya Hatiya: the biggest delta island of Bangladesh. Hatiya (Bengali: হাতিয়া) is an island and located at 22.3667°N 91.1250°E.

It has 47970 units of house hold and total area 1508.23 km². The island has a small and beautiful island under its area, known as Nijhum Dwip. Traditional transport: Noakhali to Hatiya by sea-truck and Chittagong to Hatiya by Steamer,Dhaka to hatiya by launch. Buses in main roads, baby taxies, trucks and rickshawas Palanquin (extinct), bullock cart (nearly extinct) and boat.
