Zajira Upazila has a total area of 246.21 square kilometres (95.06 sq mi). About two-thirds is land and one-third is water, chiefly the Padma River, which flows through the northern part of the upazila. It borders Munshiganj District to the north, Naria Upazila to the east and south, Shariatpur Sadar Upazila to the south, and Madaripur District to the west. Demographics:

e 2011 Bangladesh census, Zajira Upazila had 14,715 households and a population of 194,019, 11.0% of whom lived in urban areas. 11.2% of the population was under the age of 5.[4] The literacy rate (age 7 and over) was 44.4%, compared to the national average of 51.8%. Education:
here are three colleges in the upazila. They include Dr. Moslem Uddin Khan Degree College and Jajira College. The madrasa education system includes one fazil madrasa.

এর দুটো কারণ....
★ প্রথমত জারা আপু এনসিপি থেকে চলে যাওয়ার পর এনসিপি আর উনার ভোট আলাদা হয়ে গেছে৷
★ আর ঐ আসনে বিএনপির হাবিব ভাই ও ভালো মানুষ আর উনি আগ থেকেই লিড করা লোক৷
★ দুঃখিত জারা আপু হার মেনে নিন তবে ঢাকা-৯ এর মানুষ ভালো একজনকেই পেয়েছে৷ বাকিটা নির্বাচন পর বোঝা যাবে ❤
