বাংলাদেশের একটি দুর্গম ও বিচ্ছিন্ন চরাঞ্চলে, যেখানে আগে কখনও কুরবানির আয়োজন করা হয়নি, জেনেসিস ফাউন্ডেশন এ বছর প্রথমবারের মতো কুরবানির আয়োজন করতে যাচ্ছে।

এই উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে এলাকার ৬৫ জন সুবিধাবঞ্চিত শিশু ও তাদের পরিবার ঈদুল আজহার আনন্দ, বরকত ও ত্যাগের মহিমা অনুভব করার সুযোগ পাবে।

The dialogue brought together advisory council members, researchers, policy experts, journalists, and representatives from various organizations to discuss climate action, citizen engagement, and pathways toward a more sustainable and accountable future for Bangladesh.

তরুণদের মধ্যে জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি এবং প্রাণ ও প্রকৃতি রক্ষায় জেনেসিস ফাউন্ডেশন।দীর্ঘদিন ধরে বিভিন্ন সচেতনতামূলক কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে আসছে।

এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় সম্প্রতি গোপালগঞ্জে পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ ও জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের প্রভাব সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে একটি আলোচনা অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়।

অনুষ্ঠানে স্কুল ও কলেজের অর্ধশতাধিক শিক্ষার্থী অংশগ্রহণ করে। এ আয়োজনে সহযোগিতা করেছে স্থানীয় জেলা প্রশাসন।

আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, পরিবেশ সুরক্ষায় তরুণ প্রজন্মের সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহণ অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। একটি টেকসই ও বাসযোগ্য পৃথিবী গড়ে তুলতে তাদের আরও সচেতন, দায়িত্বশীল ও উদ্যোগী হয়ে উঠতে হবে।

শরীয়তপুরের নড়িয়া উপজেলার নওপাড়া ইউনিয়নের দুর্গম ও বিচ্ছিন্ন রাজাপুর চরে বছরের শুরু থেকে Genesis Foundation এবং It's Humanity Foundation - IHF যৌথভাবে “আলোর পাঠশালা” নামে একটি শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে আসছে।

স্কুলটির পাঠদান কার্যক্রম, পরীক্ষা পরিচালনা এবং সার্বিক অগ্রগতি পর্যবেক্ষণের লক্ষ্যে দুই প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রতিনিধিদল নিয়মিত ফিল্ড ভিজিট পরিচালনা করছে। এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় প্রতিনিধিদল সম্প্রতি 'আলোর পাঠশালা' পরিদর্শন করেন এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের পাঠদান কার্যক্রম, উপস্থিতি ও শিক্ষার মান নিবিড়ভাবে পর্যালোচনা করেন।

বিশ্ব মা দিবসে আমরা গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও ভালোবাসার সঙ্গে স্মরণ করছি পৃথিবীর সকল মাকে, বিশেষ করে সেই সংগ্রামী মায়েদের, যারা প্রতিকূলতার মধ্যেও সন্তানদের জন্য আশার আলো জ্বালিয়ে রাখেন।

ঈদের চাঁদ যখন আকাশে ওঠে, তখন আমাদের ঘরে থাকে উৎসবের আমেজ। কিন্তু ভাবুন তো, যে পরিবারের উপার্জনক্ষম ব্যক্তিটি ভাবছেন কাল সকালে সন্তানদের পাতে কী তুলে দেবেন, তাদের কাছে ঈদের আনন্দ কেমন?

আমাদের চারপাশে থাকা এমনই কিছু সুবিধাবঞ্চিত মানুষের মুখের হাসি ফোটাতে GENESIS FOUNDATION মাত্র ১৬০০ টাকার একটি প্যাকেজ তৈরি করছে। প্যাকেজটি একটি চার সদস্যের পরিবারের পুরো সাত দিনের আহারের নিশ্চয়তা দেবে।
