📢 Important Notice:

The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Dhaka wishes to inform all Bangladeshi citizens planning to travel through Egypt that, in accordance with the latest instructions issued by the competent Egyptian authorities, the prior issuance of a transit visa through the Embassy has become mandatory.

Kindly note the following key requirements:
• Transit visas must be obtained in advance through the Embassy of Egypt in Dhaka.
• The traveler must hold a valid passport and, where applicable, a valid visa or residence permit for the final destination country.
• Egypt must be a transit point on the traveler’s route to another destination.
• Entry is subject to compliance with Egyptian immigration rules, including not being listed in entry restriction records.

The Embassy kindly urges all travelers to ensure that they obtain the required transit visa prior to travel to avoid any inconvenience.

For further information and application procedures, please contact the Consular Section of the Embassy.

NB:- The prior rules of Visa on Arrival through valid visas of selected countries are still applicable. This visa is only intended for long transit purposes.

The transit visa is valid for 72 hours after being granted and does not affect tourists who are on a layover.

تتشرف وزارة الخارجية والهجرة وشئون المصريين بالخارج بدعوة كل أبناء الجاليات المصرية في الخارج للتسجيل لحضور مؤتمر المصريين بالخارج – النسخة السابعة، المقرر عقده يومي الأحد والإثنين 2-3 أغسطس 2026 بالقاهرة، برعاية وحضور الدكتور بدر عبد العاطى وزير الخارجية والهجرة وشئون المصريين بالخارج، والسادة الوزراء وكبار المسئولين في الدولة، لمناقشة كافة القضايا والموضوعات ذات الصلة برعاية الجاليات المصرية بالخارج والاستماع إلى آرائهم واقتراحاتهم وتلبية طلباتهم، ويمكن لمن يرغب من المصريين بالخارج في حضور المؤتمر تسجيل بياناتهم اعتباراً من 25 يناير 2026 على الرابط التالي:
