বাংলাদেশ ও জাপানের দ্বিপক্ষীয় সহযোগিতা আরও এক ধাপ এগিয়ে।

৮ম বাংলাদেশ–জাপান যৌথ PPP প্ল্যাটফর্ম সভায় বাংলাদেশ ও জাপান দ্বিপক্ষীয় পাবলিক-প্রাইভেট পার্টনারশিপ (PPP) সহযোগিতা আরও জোরদার করার অঙ্গীকার পুনর্ব্যক্ত করেছে।

সভায় উচ্চমানের অবকাঠামো প্রকল্পের বাস্তবায়ন ত্বরান্বিত করা, আঞ্চলিক ও অর্থনৈতিক সংযোগ বৃদ্ধি এবং টেকসই বিনিয়োগ সম্প্রসারণের ওপর বিশেষ গুরুত্বারোপ করা হয়।

দীর্ঘমেয়াদি অর্থনৈতিক প্রবৃদ্ধি, টেকসই উন্নয়ন এবং সমৃদ্ধ ভবিষ্যৎ গড়ে তুলতে বাংলাদেশ ও জাপান পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতা আরও গভীর করার প্রত্যয় ব্যক্ত করেছে।

Bangladesh and Japan reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening strategic PPP cooperation at the 8th Japan–Bangladesh Joint PPP Platform Meeting.
The meeting focused on accelerating high-quality infrastructure projects, enhancing connectivity and promoting sustainable investment.
Together, both nations aim to drive long-term economic growth and transformative development.

Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia continue to strengthen their partnership through constructive dialogue and investment cooperation.

Today’s discussions reaffirmed the shared commitment to expanding collaboration in transport and logistics, maritime development, supply chain infrastructure and financial services areas that are central to Bangladesh’s long-term growth agenda.

The Public-Private Partnership Authority remains committed to working alongside BIDA, BEZA and other government institutions to facilitate quality private investment and deliver sustainable infrastructure through appropriate partnership models.

We look forward to continued engagement with international partners to unlock new opportunities for Bangladesh.

বাংলাদেশ ও সৌদি আরবের মধ্যে বিনিয়োগ ও অর্থনৈতিক সহযোগিতা আরও শক্তিশালী হচ্ছে।

আজকের বৈঠকে পরিবহন ও লজিস্টিকস, সামুদ্রিক খাত, সাপ্লাই চেইন অবকাঠামো এবং আর্থিক সেবাসহ বিভিন্ন অগ্রাধিকার খাতে সহযোগিতা সম্প্রসারণের বিষয়ে উভয় পক্ষের আগ্রহ পুনর্ব্যক্ত হয়েছে।

পাবলিক প্রাইভেট পার্টনারশিপ (PPP) অথরিটি, BIDA, BEZA এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট সরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর সঙ্গে সমন্বয়ের মাধ্যমে মানসম্মত বেসরকারি বিনিয়োগ ও টেকসই অবকাঠামো উন্নয়নে কাজ করে যেতে প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।

🏗️ Asia Infrastructure Forum (AIF) 2026-এ “Redefining Sustainable Infrastructure for a New Era” শীর্ষক মন্ত্রী পর্যায়ের প্যানেল আলোচনায় অংশ নেবেন বিডা’র নির্বাহী চেয়ারম্যান ও Public Private Partnership Authority Bangladesh-এর সিইও আশিক চৌধুরী।

আগামী ১৬ জুন ২০২৬ সিঙ্গাপুরে অনুষ্ঠিতব্য এই আলোচনা বাংলাদেশের জন্য সময়োপযোগী। সরকারের ১৮০ দিনের বিনিয়োগ এজেন্ডার আওতায় বন্দর আধুনিকায়ন, নবায়নযোগ্য জ্বালানি, লজিস্টিকস দক্ষতা এবং শক্তিশালী সরকারি-বেসরকারি অংশীদারিত্ব এগিয়ে নেওয়া হচ্ছে।

এই প্যানেলে আরও অংশ নেবেন মালয়েশিয়ার কর্মমন্ত্রী আলেকজান্ডার নানতা লিঙ্গি; সিঙ্গাপুরের প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালয়ের মন্ত্রী এবং অর্থ ও জাতীয় উন্নয়ন মন্ত্রণালয়ের দ্বিতীয় মন্ত্রী ইন্দ্রানী রাজাহ; এবং কম্বোডিয়ার অর্থনীতি ও অর্থ মন্ত্রণালয়ের সেক্রেটারি অব স্টেট থিরং পেন।

এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আলোচনা আয়োজনের জন্য Infrastructure Asia-কে ধন্যবাদ।

☀️ A market sounding workshop with international investors will be held in Singapore on 16 June 2026 for the proposed 130 MW Sonagazi solar power project in Feni, Bangladesh.

The workshop will be jointly organised by the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority, the Public Private Partnership Authority and the Power Division, with support from the Asian Development Bank. Leading renewable energy investors and international companies will join the session to learn about the project, its PPP structure and Bangladesh’s renewable energy investment pipeline.

The Sonagazi project will use 412 acres of land owned by the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority, Prime Minister’s Office. It is designed as a pilot for using government-owned land to mobilise private capital into clean energy, creating a replicable model for future renewable energy projects in Bangladesh.

PPPA CEO and BIDA and BEZA Executive Chairman Ashik Chowdhury will deliver the keynote speech. Guest remarks will be delivered by K M Ali Reza, Additional Secretary, Renewable Energy Wing, Power Division, and Mohammad Azim Hashimi, Director, Office of Markets Development and PPP, Asian Development Bank. The project will be presented by Sheharyar Chughtai and A M Al Amin from ADB’s Office of Markets Development and PPP.

Earlier, a workshop on the project was held in Dhaka on 14 May 2026, bringing together domestic investors and relevant stakeholders. The session was joined by Hon’ble Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Iqbal Hasan Mahmud, MP, and Hon’ble State Minister Anindya Islam Amit, MP. Speaking at the workshop, the Hon’ble Power Ministernoted that the government is working to announce an investment-friendly policy by June to support stronger private investment and industrial-scale growth in Bangladesh’s solar power sector.

☀️ বিদেশি বিনিয়োগকারীদের কাছে ফেনীর সোনাগাজীতে প্রস্তাবিত ১৩০ মেগাওয়াট সৌর বিদ্যুৎ প্রকল্প তুলে ধরতে আগামী ১৬ জুন ২০২৬ সিঙ্গাপুরে একটি market sounding workshop অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।

প্রস্তাবিত এই প্রকল্পটি বাংলাদেশ অর্থনৈতিক অঞ্চল কর্তৃপক্ষের মালিকানাধীন ৪১২ একর সরকারি জমিতে বাস্তবায়নের পরিকল্পনা করা হয়েছে।

পাবলিক প্রাইভেট পার্টনারশিপ কর্তৃপক্ষ (PPPA) বাংলাদেশ অর্থনৈতিক অঞ্চল কর্তৃপক্ষ এবং বিদ্যুৎ বিভাগের যৌথ আয়োজনে, Asian Development Bank-এর সহায়তায় আয়োজিত এই কর্মশালায় শীর্ষ আন্তর্জাতিক কোম্পানিগুলো অংশ নেবে। তারা প্রকল্পটির পিপিপি কাঠামো এবং বাংলাদেশের renewable energy investment pipeline সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত জানবেন।

কর্মশালায় মূল বক্তব্য দেবেন PPPA প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা এবং বিডা ও বেজার নির্বাহী চেয়ারম্যান আশিক চৌধুরী। বিদ্যুৎ বিভাগের Renewable Energy Wing-এর অতিরিক্ত সচিব কে এম আলী রেজা এবং ADB-এর Office of Markets Development and PPP-এর পরিচালক মোহাম্মদ আজিজ হাশিমি বক্তব্য প্রদান করবেন। প্রকল্পটি উপস্থাপন করবেন এডিবির শেহরিয়ার চুগতাই এবং এ এম আল আমিন।

এর আগে ১৪ মে ২০২৬ তারিখে ঢাকায় দেশীয় বিনিয়োগকারী ও সংশ্লিষ্ট অংশীজনদের নিয়ে এ প্রকল্পের ওপর একটি কর্মশালা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এতে অংশ নেন মাননীয় বিদ্যুৎ, জ্বালানি ও খনিজ সম্পদ মন্ত্রী ইকবাল হাসান মাহমুদ, এমপি এবং মাননীয় প্রতিমন্ত্রী অনিন্দ্য ইসলাম অমিত, এমপি। মাননীয় মন্ত্রী জানান, বাংলাদেশের সৌর বিদ্যুৎ খাতে শক্তিশালী বেসরকারি বিনিয়োগ এবং বৃহৎ পরিসরে শিল্পভিত্তিক প্রবৃদ্ধি এগিয়ে নিতে সরকার জুনের মধ্যে একটি বিনিয়োগবান্ধব নীতি ঘোষণা করার লক্ষ্যে কাজ করছে।

বিশ্বব্যাংকের Container Port Performance Index (CPPI) 2025 এর র‍্যাংকিং আমাদের সামনে বিশ্বমানের বন্দর গড়ার গুরুত্ব আরও স্পষ্টভাবে তুলে ধরেছে।

বিশ্বের অনেক শীর্ষ বন্দর আজ যে অবস্থানে পৌঁছেছে, তার পেছনে রয়েছে বৈশ্বিক অপারেটর, আধুনিক ব্যবস্থাপনা, প্রযুক্তি এবং বিনিয়োগের সফল সমন্বয়।

সেই সমন্বয় বাস্তবায়নের অন্যতম কার্যকর মাধ্যম হলো পাবলিক-প্রাইভেট পার্টনারশিপ (PPP)।

PPP-এর মাধ্যমে আন্তর্জাতিক দক্ষতা, বিশ্বমানের পরিচালনা ব্যবস্থা এবং বেসরকারি বিনিয়োগকে একত্রিত করে গড়ে তোলা সম্ভব আরও দক্ষ, স্বচ্ছ ও প্রতিযোগিতামূলক বন্দর।

দ্রুততর পণ্য পরিবহন, উন্নত সুশাসন, অধিক দক্ষতা এবং শক্তিশালী অর্থনৈতিক প্রবৃদ্ধি—এসবের পথ তৈরি করে PPP।

বিশ্বমানের বন্দর শুধু একটি লক্ষ্য নয়।
সেই লক্ষ্য অর্জনের অংশীদার—PPP।
