SPARRSO provides guidance to outgoing scholars pursuing higher studies in space science and technology
Five Bangladeshi students have been selected in 2026 for prestigious China Scholarship Council (CSC) scholarship for higher education through the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO). Prior to their departure, Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization (SPARRSO), acting as the national focal point agency, organized a guidance session on 25 August 2026. Mentionable that, APSCO annually facilitates these scholarships for students from its member states to pursue advanced education and research in space science and technology in China.
During the session, the Chairman of SPARRSO congratulated the scholarship recipients and offered key guidelines for their academic journey. He emphasized that the knowledge and expertise gained from this program should contribute significantly to the ongoing advancement of space technology in Bangladesh. He urged the scholars to acquire in-depth expertise in cutting-edge fields such as satellite design, launch systems, and remote sensing data analysis.
Senior SPARRSO officials and the scholarship recipients attended this session. The students expressed their gratitude for the orientation and committed to utilizing their acquired knowledge for national development.
