রাসূলুল্লাহ (ﷺ) বলেছেন:
"যারা জুমু'আর সালাত ত্যাগ করে, তাদের উচিত তা থেকে বিরত হওয়া; অন্যথায় আল্লাহ তাদের অন্তরে মোহর মেরে দেবেন, এরপর তারা গাফেলদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যাবে।"

(সহীহ মুসলিম: ৮৬৫)

আবূ মূসা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিতঃ "তিনি বলেন, আল্লাহর রসূল (ﷺ) বলেছেন, সৎ সঙ্গী ও অসৎ সঙ্গীর উদাহরণ মিস্‌ক বিক্রেতা ও কর্মকারের হাপরের ন্যায়। আতর বিক্রেতাদের থেকে শূন্য হাতে ফিরে আসবে না। হয় তুমি আতর খরিদ করবে, না হয় তার সুঘ্রাণ পাবে। আর কর্মকারের হাপর হয় তোমার ঘর অথবা তোমার কাপড় পুড়িয়ে দেবে, না হয় তুমি তার দুর্গন্ধ পাবে।"

"ইমাম শাফেয়ী (রহিমাহুল্লাহ) বলেছেন: মানুষ যদি কেবল এই সূরাটি নিয়ে গভীরভাবে তাদাব্বুর (চিন্তা-ভাবনা) করত, তবে এটিই তাদের (হেদায়েত ও নসীহতের) জন্য যথেষ্ট হতো।"

আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, উক্ত বর্ণিত হাদিসটি আমাদের শিক্ষা দেয় একে অপরের প্রতি ঈর্ষা না করে বরং নিজের জন্য যেমন সর্বোচ্চ ভালোটা চাই, ঠিক তেমনই করে আরেক মুসলিম ভাই, বোন, পরিবার-পরিজন, প্রতিবেশির জন্যও সর্বোচ্চ ভালোটাই চাওয়া।

"Whoever performs ghusl on Friday, then comes to the prayer, listens attentively to the khutbah without distraction, will have his sins forgiven between that Friday and the next, plus three additional days."

— Sahih Muslim (857)

Abu Huraira reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created. on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he was expelled from it. And the last hour will take place on no day other than Friday.

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: When the Prophet (ﷺ) came to Medina, he found (the Jews) fasting on the day of 'Ashura' (i.e. 10th of Muharram). They used to say: "This is a great day on which Allah saved Moses and drowned the folk of Pharaoh. Moses observed the fast on this day, as a sign of gratitude to Allah." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I am closer to Moses than they." So, he observed the fast (on that day) and ordered the Muslims to fast on it.

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Fasting the day of ‘Ashura’, I hope, will expiate for the sins of the previous year.”
