৩৩৩ নম্বরে ফোন করে খাদ্য চাওয়ার শাস্তি

প্রথম ছবির লোকটির নাম ফরিদ উদ্দিন, মাঝখানে তার স্ত্রী হীরণ বেগম, পাশে তার প্রতিবন্ধী ১৬ বছরের ছেলে রিফাত। তাদের আরেকটি মেয়ে আছে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে স্নাতক পড়ে। মেয়েটি টিউশনি করে নিজেই নিজের পড়াশুনার খড়চ চালায়। ফরিদ উদ্দিন নরায়ণগঞ্জে এক হোসিয়ারিতে কাটিং মাস্টারের কাজ করতেন। বিগত কয়েক বছরে তার তিন বার ব্রেইন স্ট্রোক করায় দৃষ্টিশক্তি ও স্মৃতি দুটোই কমে গেলে, আগের মতো আর তিনি কাজ করতে পারেন না। কিন্তু হোসিয়ারিতেই এখনো ৮ হাজার টাকা বেতনে শ্রমিকদের উপর নজরদারি রাখার কাজ করে সংসার চালাচ্ছেন। এ টাকায়ই তার অষুধ-পত্র খাবার ও সংসার। ফরিদ উদ্দিনদের সাত ভাই-বোনদের একটা পৈত্রিক বাড়ি আছে। সেখানে সবাই মিলে চার তলা তুলে নিজেরা থাকেন। ফরিদ উদ্দিনকে চার তলার উপরে টিনশেড তুলে থাকতে দেয়া হয়েছে।

ফরিদ উদ্দিন এফএম রেডিওতে শুনেছেন, ৩৩৩ নম্বরে ফোন করলে সরকার থেকে গোপনে খাদ্য পাঠানো হয়। অনেক ভেবে-চিন্তে ফরিদ উদ্দিন ৩৩৩ নম্বরে ফোন দিলেন। শুরু হলো তার খোঁজ-খবর নেয়া। নারায়ণগঞ্জ সদর উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা (ইউএনও) আরিফা জহুরার লোকজন খোঁজ নিয়ে জানতে পারেন ফরিদ উদ্দিনের চার তলা বাড়ি আছে, একটা হোসিয়ারি কারখানা আছে, তিনি এক জন ধনী লোক। এত সম্পদের অধিকারী কেন ৩৩৩ নম্বরে ফোন দিয়ে রাজকার্যে বিঘ্ন সৃষ্টি করল, এ অপরাধে ফরিদ উদ্দিনের শাস্তি ঘোষণা করলেন ইউএনও আরিফা জহুরা। শাস্তি হচ্ছে, ফরিদ উদ্দিনকে ১০০ জনের ত্রাণ কিনে দিতে হবে, নয়তো তিন মাসের কারাদণ্ড। ত্রাণও নির্ধারিত (প্রতি প্যাকেটে ৫কেজি চাল, ১কেজি ডাল, সাথে আলু, তেল, পেঁয়াজ ও লবন)।

ফরিদ উদ্দিনের ঘরে অবিবাহিত মেয়ে, এর মধ্যে তার জেল হলে মেয়ের বিয়ে হবে না। গোপনে সাহায্য চাইতে যেয়ে মহা বিপদে পড়েন ফরিদ উদ্দিন। ফরিদ উদ্দিনের ভাই ও ভাইয়ের স্ত্রীরা জানান গত শুক্রবার দুই বার আত্মহত্যা করার চেষ্টা করেন ফরিদ উদ্দিন। পরে নিজের স্ত্রীর গহনা বন্ধক রেখে, সুদে ও ধার করে বিভিন্ন জনের কাছ থেকে ৭০ হাজার টাকা যোগার করে ১০০ জনের খাদ্যসামগ্রী কেনেন। গতকাল শনিবার সে ত্রাণসামগ্রী বিতরণ করেন ইউএনও আরিফা জহুরা সহ সরকারের কর্মকর্তারা। ত্রাণ বিতরণের সময় ফরিদ উদ্দিনের পরিবার ইউএনওর সামনে কান্নায় আহাজারি করে বলতে থাকেন, “আমরা ধনী না গরিব, নিতান্ত গরিব, গরিব।” পাশের ছবিটি সেই ইউএনও আরিফা জহুরা।

As of today, 200+ people was injured in an attack on Al-Aksa Masjid in Jerusalem. Opposing Israeli Forces attacked praying muslims of Gaza as they were gathered to pray the last Tarawwih of Ramadan. We, SACRO, are always on the side on humanity and we want the end of oppression of Israel in Palestinian Lands!

Today is 12 july,Malala Yousafzai's birthday and also The Malala Day.this day in honour of Malala Yousafzai who has been prominent activist for woman education since early teens.
As an young girl, Malala despised the Pakistani Taliban and said that girl should allowed to study.For this violent reason, a Taliban gunman was shot in the head but she survived.After her recovery, Malala bravely continued to advocate woman's education. She also founded the Malala Fund to help young girls have access to education. Malala Day is time to remember the story of Malala yousufzai and to stand for woman's rights to education the world over.
