Introduction: Chittagong is an administrative division under the present People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Among the districts under this division, the Chittainga people basically lives in two major districts, Chittagong district and Cox’sBazar district, and Chittagong City Corporation. They speak in Chittagonian language and their tradition is a

lso different from other part of Bangladesh. Why a new separate country for the people of Chittagong: Chittagonian people took part in many historic battles and took lead in those battles against many tyrants. In fact, the declaration of Independence was pronounced from Chittagong Radio Station on 26 March 1971. But the Chittainga people are victims of systematic deprivation by all the Bangladeshi government. The area of Republic of Chittagong:
Entire Chittagong City Corporation means all its wards. Entire Chittagong district means all its sub-districts (upazilas) except Sondip Upazila. Entire Cox’sBazar district means all its sub-districts (upazilas). NOTE: Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT Rangamati, Khagrachori, & Bandarban) is not included in the idea of the state of the Republic of Chittagong. Official Languages:
