On 29 June 2026, at the Bangladesh-China Friendship International Conference Center in the capital, the Honorable Prime Minister officially inaugurated the National Level Startup, Science Project and Innovation Idea Showcasing and the Tree Plantation Launching Program, organized under the theme: "A Nation of Talent, Science, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation – Bangladesh First."
At the beginning of the inauguration ceremony, the smart and disciplined cadets of the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) presented a Guard of Honour to welcome the Honorable Prime Minister. A total of 410 cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Wings proudly performed this prestigious duty.
On the same occasion, the Honorable Prime Minister officially launched the "One Child, One Tree" campaign, marking the simultaneous tree plantation initiative in 29,621 secondary educational institutions across the country. He was accompanied by his spouse during the ceremony.
The Prime Minister also inaugurated the National Level Startup, Science Project and Innovation Idea Showcasing, visited various innovation stalls, and presented awards to the best innovators. In his address, he emphasized the importance of scientific thinking, innovation, environmental conservation, and building a climate-conscious and skilled future generation.
Among the participants, nine distinguished cadets from the BNCC Air Wing of Comilla Victoria Government College had the honor of presenting the Guard of Honour. They are:

By successfully carrying out this prestigious responsibility, the cadets of the BNCC Air Wing, Comilla Victoria Government College, demonstrated outstanding discipline, professionalism, and excellence. Their remarkable achievement is a matter of great pride for the college, BNCC, and the people of Comilla.
