Today, on 5th August, we remember the day when Articles 370 and 35A were revoked. As per our party's directions, we had organized a peaceful meeting at our District Office in Anantnag to pass a resolution. However, we were prevented from entering our own office, and many of our party workers were detained.
I also accompanied my colleagues and was kept at Khanabal for nearly four hours. After completing the formalities, we were released.
We strongly condemn this action and reiterate our demand for the immediate restoration of full statehood to Jammu & Kashmir and the restoration of our constitutional guarantees. Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party - JKAP Altaf Bukhari
