🍂📚 What's On This Week at Zeerust Primary School? 📚🍂

We've made it to the final week of Term 3! 🎉

This week includes Auslan, SELF and Active School sessions, Hot Lunch Day, lunch orders, library (don't forget to return your books 📖), and the exciting Room on a Broom excursion for our F-3 students. 🚌✨

On Friday, we'll celebrate Footy Colours Day 🏉. Students are invited to wear colours from any football code they support. The school will also provide a special lunch for all students on the day.

Please remember that Friday is also the last day of Term 3, with an early finish at 2:30pm.

🦁🐘 What a fantastic day at Melbourne Zoo! 🦒🦓

What an adventure we had today! Our Zeerust students were joined by our wonderful small-school friends from HAZUL, making the day even more special. ❤️

There were plenty of excited faces, amazing animals to discover, lots of walking, learning, laughter and wonderful shared experiences along the way.

☑️ Plenty of staff and adults
☑️ Two coach buses
☑️ Beautiful spring weather
☑️ One fantastic day! 🌿☀️🐾

We’re sure there will be lots of recounting happening tonight as our students share their favourite animals, adventures and memorable moments with their families.

A huge thank you to our staff, volunteers and our HAZUL friends for helping make today such a wonderful experience for our students.

🦁🐒 FIVE SMALL SCHOOLS… ONE BIG ADVENTURE! 🐘🦒

Today, the buses are rolling and we’re Melbourne Zoo bound! 🚌🚌

Our excursion checklist is officially COMPLETE! ✔️

☑️ 5 small schools coming together
☑️ Lots of excited students ready to explore
☑️ Plenty of staff & adults keeping everyone on track
☑️ 2 coach buses packed and ready to go
☑️ Beautiful spring weather — tick! 🌸☀️

There’s something pretty special about small schools joining forces. Today is all about learning, exploring, sharing and making memories together. 💕🌿

📅 What’s On at Zeerust Primary School - Term 3, Week 8

Another busy week ahead at ZPS! 🌟

✅ Monday: Auslan session and hats to be worn by all students and staff
✅ Tuesday: Hot Lunch Day and SELF session
✅ Wednesday: Lunch order day, Active School session, and our Year 4-6 students attend the Young Writers event in Shepparton. No library session
✅ Thursday: Maggie, Speech Therapist visit
✅ Friday: Assembly at 3:15pm
