Yeppoon State High School Yeppoon State High School strives to be a centre of educational excellence by providing an innovative learning experience for students.

We encourage and support our students to reach for the STARS. Teaching and learning is at the core of all we do and high quality learning experiences are purposefully designed to develop the attributes of life-long learners. Whilst emphasis is placed on academic outcomes, we believe that the development of a holistic education through the teaching of values and ethics instils in our graduates a sense of decency and respect for others. We are a school, proud of present and past students. We will continue the tradition of publicly recognising the many sporting, cultural, community and academic achievements of our students and staff.

WINNERS ROCK
Congratulations YSHS on winning the Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Gate challenge. “We were thrilled to see the enthusiasm, creativity and community spirit shown by schools across the region. The effort put into decorating gates, organising activities and raising awareness helped make this year's challenge a wonderful success.” “Our judge, Pinky Neven from Triple M CQ, praised Yeppoon's entry, commenting: "Yeppoon impressed me with the many gates, proactive activities in the school and continuing the conversation all month. Well planned."”
