💙 People often ask us, “What does Support at Home actually look like?”

Well… it looks like this. ❤️

It looks like having someone there to lend a hand with the things that have become a little harder.

It’s help around the house, mowing the lawn and keeping the yard tidy, support with personal care, getting out to the shops, attending appointments, enjoying a cuppa or staying connected with the people and places you love.

It’s about keeping your independence, your routine and your choices - in your own home and your own community.

Sometimes it’s practical support.
Sometimes it’s companionship.
And sometimes, it’s simply knowing there’s someone there when you need them.

Because staying at home isn’t just about the house - it’s about continuing to live the life you love. 🏡🌿

At MHA Care, we’re locals supporting locals, and we believe ageing at home should still feel like your life, your way.

Are you a Cobram or Numurkah local with a little time to spare and looking for a way to give back to your community?

MHA Care is looking for friendly volunteers to help with our Meals on Wheels deliveries in Cobram and Numurkah.

It’s about so much more than delivering a meal. For many of our clients, your visit brings a friendly face, a quick chat and an important connection to their community.

Cobram & Nathalia Planned activities Group (PAG)

PAG trip to Riverlinks Shepparton

We have some exciting new trips coming up in our PAG groups. On Tuesday we had the first of the trips to Riverlinks in Shepparton. What a great day we had with a bus full of clients. We took them to the Shepparton club for lunch. Which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Then we toddled off to Riverlinks for the Afternoon Delights show. Broadway Bound it was called. It was fabulous. Our clients all had a wonderful time.
If you would like to come along on one or all of our trips get in touch with us at MHAcare and we will get you signed up. Our next trip in September to Riverlinks is The Beggars sing the Seekers. I think this will be a popular one as we all love the Seekers music.

Last week Nathalia Grinners theme was "Collections" and a diverse number of items collected over many years was displayed. We had a beautiful collection of dolls, tee shirts, and tea towels as well as old and new coins, lots of magnets and a display book of sugar and coffee sachets. Nathalia Grinners is a friendly group that encourages participation in a caring environment with a focus of fun and laughter.
