👋🏻 Best Wishes, Chun Long! 👋🏻

On 3 June 2026, we bade goodbye to Deputy High Commissioner Au Chun Long as he concludes a successful stint in Australia.

Throughout his time in Canberra, Chun Long was closely involved in efforts to deepen cooperation across a broad range of areas of the Singapore-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. 🇸🇬🇦🇺

A familiar face to many of our friends and partners, Chun Long brought professionalism, warmth and thoughtful insights to every engagement. Within the High Commission, he was a trusted colleague and steady leader, always generous with his time and support.

We wish Chun Long and his family all the best in their next chapter ahead!

On 15 May 2026, Counsellor Brandon Choong hosted members of the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Liberal Club, one of the campus clubs of the New South Wales Young Liberals, at the Singapore High Commission. They had an open and free flowing discussion on Australia-Singapore cooperation, ways to strengthen regional engagement, as well as the opportunities for youth in both Australia and Singapore. 🇸🇬🇦🇺

🚙 The UNSW Liberal Club delegation was on their annual trip to Canberra, and had taken the opportunity this year to engage both parliamentarians and various diplomatic representatives. We wish the delegation all the best for their visit! 💪

: In 1976, a delegation of Young Liberals had travelled to Singapore and Malaysia for an international exchange tour!

On 29 April 2026, High Commissioner Anil Nayar had an introductory meeting with H.E. Nom Piseth, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Australia and New Zealand.

HC Anil and Ambassador-Designate Nom Piseth reaffirmed the deep and enduring partnership between 🇸🇬 and 🇰🇭, and discussed their respective priorities in Australia.

As fellow Member States, our countries have worked closely together to promote regional growth and stability, and share a commitment to ASEAN Centrality and unity.

We wish His Excellency a successful and fruitful posting! 🤝
