Echoes of Exploration: Colonel Light’s Campsite Rediscovered at Rapid Bay
Taylor Lupp amateur historian showcases her discoveries and research of what is believed to be the basecamp of colonel Light and his survey crews 1836 campsite at Rapid Bay. Using metal detecting and extensive research Taylor has uncovered items which will be on display from this historic site. Hear all about what has been unearthed.

Join us each week for a fun, engaging playgroup experience with Yankalilla Library staff, featuring:

A great program being offered after school, Term 2….

🎶✨ Yankalilla Youth – Term 2 Program is here! ✨🎶
Term 2 has landed and it’s packed with epic music, movement, creative workshops and even some late‑night hangs for teens. From crafts and drumming to skating, Dungeons & Dragons and costume making — there’s truly something for everyone!
