A big thank you to our school community for a lovely afternoon celebrating our dads.

Some fun basketball, soccer, footy and handball games sprung up along with catch up chats and a yummy sausage sizzle courtesy of our P&C.

Fun science times today as we celebrated the culmination of hard work with the Hermitage Research station’s annual open day.

Each year the Hermitage runs a school plant science competition and this year’s theme was ‘Fungal Forensics’. Our little team worked very hard and came second place out of all Australia.

Our own Phoebe, Clara, Mayah and Thea received special individual awards and our science champion Mrs Coy well deservedly was recognised as well!

All this was thanks to the hard work and dedication of Mrs Coy who volunteers her time to bring extra science to our kids.

After the award ceremony the students got to learn about different facets of science such as bees, searching for crop insects, insect sniffer dogs, Mung bean production and much more!

And of course there was Costa!!!
We enjoyed talking with and learning from this great educator.

Double dog men, the star wars crew, a giraffe, a cow and a whole winglet of dragons just to name a few turned up at school this morning for our book week parade. Such creativity and dedication to costumes was shown and a lot of fun was had! Book fair is open now all week to continue the reading festivities 😊📚📚
