๐ŸŽถ Central Coast Band Day Out! ๐ŸŽถ

What a fantastic day for our Valley View Band students at the Central Coast Band Day Out!

Students spent the day rehearsing and learning new pieces before performing for families in the afternoon. The Training Band impressed with a range of short pieces, while the Concert Band entertained the audience with the Pokรฉmon Theme and Bushido.

We are incredibly proud of all our band members for their hard work, dedication and outstanding performances. You represented Valley View beautifully!

A huge thank you to Phillip for organising this wonderful opportunity, and to all the parents and carers who helped with transport and support throughout the day. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š

3D Objects in Stage 2 - Making Maths Fun!

Stage 2 have been exploring 3D objects in maths through hands-on learning and creativity. Students investigated faces, edges and vertices, then put their knowledge into action by building and creating their own 3D objects.

๐Ÿ PSSA Netball Gala Day ๐Ÿ

Our Stage 3 netball team had a fantastic day competing in the PSSA Netball Knockout Gala Day!

With many students playing netball for the very first time, the team should be incredibly proud of their efforts. They came away with a win in the first knockout round and showed outstanding teamwork, determination and resilience throughout the day.

It was wonderful to see the studentsโ€™ confidence grow with every game, while always demonstrating excellent sportsmanship and positivity.

A big thank you to our parents and carers for their support on the day - and congratulations to our amazing team for representing Valley View so proudly! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š

๐Ÿ€ PSSA Basketball Gala Day ๐Ÿ€

Last week, our boysโ€™ and girlsโ€™ basketball teams attended the PSSA Knockout Gala Day at Niagara Park Stadium. Both teams played three games each and had an amazing day of basketball, teamwork and fun!

Unfortunately, both teams were knocked out in the first round, but they should be incredibly proud of the way they represented Valley View. Every player showed determination, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day, and it was fantastic to see how much both teams improved from game to game.

By the afternoon, the results were getting closer and closer, with the boys finishing with a nail-biting 1-point loss and the girls finishing strongly with a 28โ€“10 win!

Congratulations to all players for representing Valley View Public School with such positive attitudes, excellent behaviour and teamwork. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š
