Back yard update. The retaining wall is now done complete with drainage. 😊 And best of all the huge and somewhat snakey pile of dirt and rocks is now gone and part of the yard fill. Now to add some clean fill, get some grass growing and finally get some plants in the back yard garden. 😊 Bit by bit it’s getting there. Oh and the stairs will eventually go but now for the first time in 6 years they’re secured to the house and not resting on a barrel! The first step is no longer a big drop.

So this happened today. New retaining wall going in finally so we can raise the back yard up and have less treacherous steps up to the back door. 😊

And finally…..the shed is going up. We’ve had so much trouble regarding this shed. 🤬But finally it is happening l. 😊

Lots going on here this week. The new bathroom’s window has been moved and the builder has cleaned and replaced the old weather boards AND excitingly we now also have insulation in that wall. Eventually we’ll do the entire house which will help with heat, cold, dust etc. So good.
