To the incredible artists, dedicated volunteers, welcoming venues, and everyone who came along (including our four-legged friends) thank you for helping make the day so special.

Coastal Sounds wouldn’t have been the vibrant celebration it was without the support of our amazing community. Your enthusiasm for local music, art, and connection is what brings this event to life.

Our biggest ever kids program is here this Sunday! Meet some friendly dinosaurs, reconnect with nature, dance along with DJs, streamers and bubbles and build your own musical instruments all in a day!

You can find these activities at West Beach - Harold and Cynthia Anderson Reserve and Henley Surf Life Saving Club Lawns, where you'll also find a 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝘁, offering soft furnishings and quiet activities for those who need it!

🎨 A vibrant new mural has come to life at Chief Street Reserve, thanks to visual artist Tristan Kerr and the amazing students of Brompton Primary School.

Students contributed ideas and got hands-on, helping bring elements of the design to life through painting along the footpath. It is so fantastic to see how this project has brough creativity and community together.

✨ Next time you’re in the area, take a stroll and check it out!

Tristan was commissioned to create the new artwork in our City through an open expression‑of‑interest process in partnership with Guildhouse.

Two giant dogs appeared out of the blue in West Beach yesterday and reports are they're on the move! They've found a nice home in Henley Square on Thursday and Friday before continuing their travels across the coast!

Meet Arlo and Sunny, two very friendly pups created by the team at Climbing Tree. We've been told by their owners, Simon and Bron, that the pair recently heard about a family and dog-friendly music and arts adventure called Coastal Sounds 2026 and simply couldn't resist joining in.

After much tail-wagging and excitement, they convinced their humans to take them on a coastal walk to visit all the festival locations. They'll be off on their travels again soon, Grange Jetty Reserve on Saturday, and Semaphore Foreshore on Sunday. If you spot them along the way, be sure to stop by for a pat, a tummy tickle, and a photo!

Arlo and Sunny have checked the forecast and given it four paws up, it's looking like a cracker of a day for Coastal Sounds on Sunday!
