Something for you to keep your eye out for Woodside CFS has engaged local artists TaylrJay to paint the history of the brigade in art form on the side and part of the front of our Station. You may know TaylrJay for her artwork on the water tank on Ridge Road. She has recently just started, now that we’re starting to get a little bit of dry fine weather and the wall is drying out after our winter rains.

Simon is now leaving the district and will be leaving the brigade, he will join up in his new town, and still be a member of the Country Fire Service. The brigade and along with all its members wish you all the best of luck with your move and I hope you enjoy your new brigade as much as we’ve enjoyed having you at our brigade.

Significant Weather Threat Map
Friday, 29 August 2025

SA:
Strong wind gusts of 80 to 100km/h are expected in the southeast third of SA. Locally higher gusts closer to 120km/h or stronger are possible along part of the far southeastern coastal fringe. These winds carry significant damage potential, tending locally destructive.
Isolated storms are expected in southeastern SA. A few of the storms could become severe with damaging to locally destructive winds. Medium to marginally large hail is also a chance with one or two storms as well as bursts of heavy rainfall, but these are considered lesser threats than the wind threat.
Snow showers are possible on some of the higher parts of the Mount Lofty Ranges, the Mid North, and southern parts of the Flinders Ranges.
