What a fantastic **R U OK? Day**! 🌟

A very special thank you to our wonderful Student Council for their incredible effort, enthusiasm and dedication in bringing the day to life. 💛

From **face painting 🎨**, to the highly anticipated **Staff vs Students Footy Match 🏉**, and of course the **VERY popular cupcakes 🧁** — there was something for everyone!

We are so proud of the way our Student Council members stepped up, got involved and helped create a day focused on **connection, kindness and looking out for one another**.

Thursday 10 September💛 **R U OK? DAY – LET’S CONNECT!** 💛
We’re looking forward to a fun-filled few days at Woodford P-10 as we come together to remind each other of the importance of checking in, listening and supporting one another.
Here’s what’s happening:

💛 **Wear Yellow!** Thursday 10 September, bring along your GOLD coin donation.
Students and staff are encouraged to wear a splash of yellow and bring a **gold coin donation**, with money raised supporting the **R U OK? organisation**. Gold coin donations will be collected from classes in the morning by Student Council members (Form Class for High School).

🎨 **Face Painting!**
Face painting will be available in the **P–2 and 3–6 undercover areas**, with a roaming face-painting team visiting our High School students.

🏉 **Staff vs Students Touch Football!**
Come along and support our Staff vs Students touch football games during the breaks **Wednesday to Friday**. Who will take the win? 👀

💛 **Yellow Circle Stickers – Listen & Connect**
Today and tomorrow, yellow circle stickers will be handed out to students. By the end of the day, every student should have a sticker to show that they have **listened to someone else speaking**.

The focus is on **participating and listening**, not just asking *“R U OK?”* 💬👂

Let’s make these days a reminder that a simple conversation, a listening ear and showing that we care can make a real difference.

🚗 **RYDA Driver Education – Year 10** 🚗

Today, our Year 10 students took part in the **RYDA (Road Safety Education) program**, gaining valuable knowledge and practical strategies to help keep themselves and others safe on the road.

Students explored important topics including **driver awareness, risk-taking, distractions, decision-making and the responsibilities that come with being a road user**.

These are valuable skills that will help our students make safer choices as they move towards becoming drivers themselves. 🚦🛣️

A big thank you to the RYDA team for providing such an engaging and important learning experience for our students! 👏
