A fantastic day at Sea World filled with rides, animals, laughs and plenty of fun.

The kids squeezed every last bit of energy out of themselves and had an absolute ball! A perfect finish to an awesome four days.

Day 3 🏛️🎨☀️

Today was all about museums, art galleries and exploring, followed by a well-earned, relaxing afternoon at South Bank. It was the perfect way to slow things down a little after a very busy few days!

We’ve clocked up around 40,000 steps over the past three days 😮‍💨👟 and somehow these kids have just kept bringing the positive energy, enthusiasm and smiles.

They’ve walked, explored, learned, laughed and made the most of everything we’ve thrown at them.

What a bunch of champions! 💙

🌟 Day 2 done and dusted! 🌟

Another fantastic day exploring Brisbane! 🏙️

We started by stepping back in time at Old Government House, before heading to The Cube at QUT for some interactive fun. From there, we spent some time exploring the beautiful Brisbane City Botanic Gardens. 🌿

Next up was the Museum of Brisbane, followed by one of the highlights of the day – the Clock Tower Tour! 🕰️ It was so interesting riding up inside the tower and getting to see Brisbane from behind the clock faces. Such a unique view of the city!

We finished off our afternoon with a ferry cruise along the Brisbane River ⛴️ taking in the sights of the city from the water.

🏙️ Brisbane Excursion – Day 1 🚌

What a fantastic first day!

We kicked off our adventure with a visit to David Fleay Wildlife Park, where we enjoyed seeing some incredible Australian wildlife and learning more about our native animals. 🐨🐊🦘

From there, we headed into Brisbane, checked into the YHA and got ourselves settled before heading out to South Bank for the afternoon. We explored the parklands, took in the sights of the city and enjoyed spending some time together in a very different setting to home!

There have been plenty of laughs, lots of walking and some very excited (and tired!) kids. 😴

We’ve had dinner and everyone is now winding down after a very busy first day.

And they're off!!! 🚍 We hope our Stage 3 students have a fantastic week at Brisbane!!!

🏕️ STAGE 3 BRISBANE EXCURSION – TOMORROW! 🚌

The countdown is over! A few final reminders for our campers:

⏰ Please be at school by 8:15am tomorrow morning so we have plenty of time to load the bus, get organised and be ready to head off.

🎒 Remember to bring:
• Your packed bag/suitcase
• A small backpack for day trips
• Lunch, snacks and a drink bottle for Day 1
• Any required medication, as previously arranged

📵 No phones or personal devices are needed on camp.

Please have a good dinner, get an early night and come ready for a very busy four days!

Today we celebrate all the amazing dads, grandfathers, stepdads, carers and father figures who fill our children’s lives with love, encouragement, laughter and support.

🏃‍♂️🎽We wish Remy and Tanaya all the very best as they compete in the North Coast Regional Athletics on Monday.
Remy ran a great race in the Zone carnival and placed 1st in his 100m race and Tanaya came 2nd in shot put.
Good luck to you both on Monday!
